A website named Sue

Welcome to Sue Seddon's website where you will find snippets of news and comments from readers and viewers. You can look ahead to events where Sue and her collection of characters entertain the good folk of Lancaster.

Born in Barrow in Furness (but we won't talk about that), the daughter of a journalist/playwright and slap bang in the middle of a large family of fiesty females, Sue learned early how to make herself heard.  After living "in a boghole in County Leitrim" (complete with damp) she found herself in a remote village in the mountains of eastern europe (like Leitrim, but without the damp) This led to a trilogy of tongue-in-cheek anecdotal novels: The Big Bulgarian Adventure, Bulgaria Bites Back and Under the Plum Tree.

Though well travelled Sue has remained loyal to her roots in the Palatine.  After settling in Lancaster she liked the city so much that she "just had to write about it".  Following exhaustive and dedicated research from barstools across the city, Sue Sedddon's Little Book of Lancaster was born.  Sue now writes and plays comic sketches, cabaret and festivals in and around Lancaster and produces Writing from the Loopier side of Life for Lancashire Life.
